Favourite anime of the last decade

My favourite anime of each year, 2010-2019, plus some honourable mentions:

2019

Favourite: The Promised Neverland
An amazing mix of cuteness and horror.
Honourable mentions: Kemono Michi; Cautious Hero; No Guns Life; Isekai Quartet

2018

Favourite: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
Reviewed in my previous post
Honourable mentions: Bunny Girl Senpai; Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san

2017

Favourite: Made in Abyss
Honourable mentions: Tsugumomo; Scums Wish

2016

Favourite: Mob Psycho 100
Honourable mentions: Konosuba; Re:ZERO

2015

Favourite: Overlord
Not as good as TenSura or KonoSuba, but still one of my favourite isekai

Honourable mentions: GATE; One Punch Man; DanMachi; Owarimonogatari

2014

Favourite: Parasyte: the maxim
A masterpiece of horror with heartwarming and humourous elements
Honourable mentions: Space☆Dandy; D-Frag!; Tsukimonogatari

2013

Favourite: Attack on Titan
The first episode is pretty terrible, especially in the English dub, but in episode 2 when Mikasa punched Eren in the face, I decided that I could grow to like this show. The level of quality is definitely very mixed.

Honourable mentions: Strike the Blood; Monogatari Series: Second Season

2012

Favourite: Psycho-Pass
Not as good as Ghost in the Shell, but still an excellent Cyberpunk anime.
Honourable mentions: Chu-2 byo; Nisemonogatari

2011

Favourite: Steins;Gate
I was studying for my PhD when this anime came out. The concept of sending an SMS back in time to your past self just blew my mind. A very faithful adaptation of the visual novel developed by 5pb. and Nitroplus.

2010

Favourite: Bakemonogatari
The first season of the Monogatari series by Studio Shaft, adapting the light novels written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Vofan. Technically aired in Summer 2009, but close enough.
Honourable mentions: Yosuga no Sora; Demon King Daimao
